Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Video Editor responsible for producing, editing, and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. This role requires a combination of technical skills and creative flair to ensure high-quality video output. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and a good understanding of storyboarding, special effects, and transitions. Experience with color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics is strongly preferred. An understanding of current industry trends and techniques is essential, along with the ability to work through the entire production process from concept to final edit.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality video content.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts.
• Ensure videos meet the project requirements and align with the brand’s vision.
• Enhance video content with graphics, special effects, sound, and music.
• Perform color correction and sound editing to maintain consistent video quality.
• Optimize video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
• Manage and organize video files and assets efficiently.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing and production.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into video projects.
• Provide feedback and guidance during the video production process.
• Ensure timely delivery of video projects while meeting deadlines.
• Conduct video quality control checks to ensure the final product meets all specifications.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation software like After Effects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of color correction, sound design, and special effects.
• Ability to edit and enhance video content for various platforms, including social media.
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
• Familiarity with storyboarding, scriptwriting, and shot planning.
• Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain video assets efficiently.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing and production.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure a polished final product.
• Creative vision for compelling storytelling with pacing and visual effects.
